Bigfix Administrator

We are hiring for the role of BigFix Administrator:

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Perform day-to-day distribution of applications, software, patches, and operating systems using HCL BigFix for end-user hardware.

2. Ensure compliance with the common operating environment by identifying and remediating hardware discrepancies.

3. Provide data for asset reporting and manage overall patch/release management.

4. Monitor and address vulnerabilities affecting compliance requirements and manage change procedures.

5. Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve service requests related to software distribution and workstation management.

6. Serve as a subject matter expert for remote package distribution and workstation-related issues (OS, Applications, Network, GPO).

7. Update and maintain process and procedure documentation for End User Technology and Service Desk.

8. Perform tasks independently while ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.

Must-Have Skills

• Expertise in using HCL BigFix for software, patch distribution, and OS deployment.
• Strong knowledge of compliance requirements and vulnerability management.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving issues across OS, Applications, Networks, and GPO.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate technical information effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, and ability to work independently.
• Detail-oriented, assertive, and methodical in problem-solving.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience in updating process documentation for technical teams.
• Conceptual thinking skills to model complex business and technical requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
• B.Tech or equivalent.
• Relevant experience of 5+ years.
