Position Summary. To meet or exceed the business development objectives of the INDIA Region by promoting and selling the services of SIRVA to potential local, regional and global clients through professional sales techniques, collaboration with internal subject matter experts and efficient networking activities
Functions And Responsibilities. In conjunction with the leadership, developing and executing the business development strategy for INDIA
Preparation of business plan, goals, call targets & Budgets. Focus on Account development relative to moving services while looking for opportunities to introduce Relocation and associated services
Maintain a regular call cycle and follow up contact with customers. Meet and Maintain meetings and call targets. Identify and develop special projects as & when the opportunities are established
Meet or Exceed revenue targets in alignment with the margin benchmarks
Develop and execute prospecting strategy for target accounts and markets
Identify, build and maintain winning business relationships
Initiate and complete proposals, presentations, terms and conditions, negotiations and execution for the acquisition of opportunities
Utilize SIRVA’s prospect management application on a daily basis to track activities and manage the pipeline– Salesforce.com. Participate in team selling activity for regional and global accounts with counterparts within and outside the INDIA region
Maintain market intelligence on competitor activities
Attending conferences / events to network with prospects, clients and competitors
Manage & develop broader relationships with Internal Stakeholders (Operations, Supply chain, Finance etc.). SUGGESTED MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE. Call Targets Met or exceeded. Business Revenue & growth targets. New Account additions and opportunities. Systems Management. Reporting commitments
Team Participation & responsibility. Qualifications And Preferred Skills. Quick learner with a sales minded attitude able to understand corporate client’s requirements and improvement areas. Ability to identify long term and sustainable growth strategies. Strong in proposition development & proposal preparation
Negotiation skills and experience with complex contract review and agreement. Interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Leadership & influencing abilities
Experience in selling/closing multi-stakeholder, complex solutions. A driven, hardworking and creative thinker who will act on market requirements. Attention to detail & high level of accuracy
