Quality Control Engineer

• Quality Assurance and Testing:
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes, standards, and procedures.
• Conduct product inspections, tests, and audits to verify compliance with quality standards.
• Perform tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Ensure products meet specifications, industry standards, and customer expectations.
• Develop and document inspection criteria and procedures.

• Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:
• Investigate product defects or non-conformities and identify root causes.
• Work with production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues.
• Use statistical methods to monitor and improve product quality.
• Lead efforts to implement continuous improvement initiatives and reduce defects.

• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality control activities.
• Prepare quality reports and summaries for management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and areas needing attention.
• Ensure documentation is in compliance with regulatory and industry standards.

• Collaboration:
• Work closely with the production, engineering, and design teams to ensure product specifications are met throughout the manufacturing process.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that the raw materials meet quality standards.
• Communicate quality-related issues and improvements to team members, management, and customers.

• Compliance:
• Ensure that quality control activities comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
• Keep up-to-date with changes in industry standards, safety regulations, and quality management systems (QMS).
• Prepare for and support external audits or inspections from regulatory bodies or certification agencies.

• Training and Support:
• Provide training to production personnel on quality control procedures and techniques.
• Support team members in understanding and applying quality standards and best practices.

• Risk Management:
• Identify and mitigate quality risks throughout the production process.
• Develop and implement risk-based quality control plans to minimize defects and optimize process efficiency.
