Gis Engineer

Key Responsibilities: •

Conduct analysis and interpretation of satellite imagery and spatial data. • Develop and maintain GIS applications and portals using ArcGIS, Q-GIS, and other tools. • Manage Geo Databases (Geo DB) for mapping and data collection. • Work on GIS and remote sensing projects with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and integrate spatial data for various layers. • Generate analytical reports, visualizations, and thematic maps for stakeholders. • Troubleshoot and optimize GIS applications and workflows. Qualifications: Educational Requirements: •

Masters Degree (M.Sc. or M.Tech) in Geo-Spatial Science, GIS, Geo-Informatics, or a related field. Alternatively, a Bachelor's Degree with relevant certifications in GIS or remote sensing.

Skills and Competencies: •

Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, Q-GIS, and other spatial analysis tools.

• Strong knowledge of Geo Database management and portal development. •

Ability to analyze satellite imagery and interpret spatial data. •

Familiarity with GIS and remote sensing projects, including data collection and mapping for various layers. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
