Position Summary:

The Data Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing large datasets to provide insights that shape our pricing models and strategies. This role will involve working with SQL databases, building dynamic dashboards, and conducting in-depth pricing analysis. You will collaborate with multiple teams, including product, finance, and sales, to drive data-driven decisions and ensure we maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Collection & Cleaning :

• Gather, clean, preprocess, and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and consistency while addressing any quality issues.

Data Analysis & Interpretation :

• Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends and patterns, transforming findings into actionable insights.

Dashboarding & Visualizations :

• Create dynamic dashboards and visualizations using Excel, Google Sheets, and BI tools. Generate comprehensive reports that align insights with business objectives through effective stakeholder collaboration.

Business Insights & Recommendations :

• Translate business challenges into data-driven solutions, providing actionable recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and support forecasting efforts.

Market Analysis :

• Analyze market trends and customer behavior in the short-term rental sector to identify growth opportunities and improve competitive positioning.

Data Integrations :

• Oversee integration projects involving multiple internal and external data sources, ensuring seamless integration into our existing ecosystem.

AI Implementation

• Identify opportunities to integrate AI solutions for automating data processing and improving analysis. Collaborate with technical teams to implement and refine AI initiatives.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficient in SQL, Excel, Google Sheets, CRM Systems (Python, but not mandatory)
• Experience with data visualization tools (preferably QuickSight; familiarity with Power BI or Tableau is also valuable)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
