Oracle/NetSuite Analytics Warehouse Data Engineer

Sikich is seeking a NetSuite Analytics Warehouse (NSAW) Data Engineer based in India. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining a robust data warehouse infrastructure to support our clients analytics and reporting needs. You will work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to ensure data quality, accuracy, and accessibility.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Data Warehouse Design and Development:

• Design and implement a scalable and efficient data warehouse architecture to accommodate growing data volumes and complexity.
• Leverage built-in NSAW connectors and integration tools and/or develop ETL/ELT processes to extract data from third-party systems and load it into the data warehouse.
• Implement data flows to further transform data and build reporting datasets.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency by implementing data quality checks and validation procedures.

Data Modeling and Optimization:

• Create and maintain data models that effectively represent the business domain and support analytical queries.
• Optimize data warehouse performance through indexing, partitioning, and other techniques to improve query response times.

Data Governance and Compliance:

• Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Monitor data quality and identify data anomalies or inconsistencies.

Analytics and Reporting:

• Collaborate with business analysts to understand reporting requirements and develop data-driven solutions.
• Create and maintain datasets and extend the semantic model to support specific analytical use cases.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations to provide insights into business performance.

Technology Stack:

• Proficient in SQL and data warehousing technologies, specifically Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse. Experience with comparable platforms, such as Snowflake, will be considered.
• Experience with ETL or iPaaS tools.
• Familiarity with Oracle cloud platforms and cloud-based data warehousing solutions.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in technology development, Data management, Data analytics & Data warehousing preferably on the Netsuite platform.Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Experience working with ERP financials data. Supply Chain and Manufacturing data is a major plus.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse, Microsoft Fabric, or other data warehousing and BI platforms is considered equivalent experience.
• Ability to build customized reports and dashboards using NetSuites built-in reporting tools, including Saved Searches and Advanced Analytics.
• Familiarity with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio for analyzing NetSuite data.
• Knowledge of data modeling and data governance concepts.

Qualifications

BE/B Tech/MCA/MBA or any other equivalent degree

Preferred Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in data warehousing and ETL development and BI. 5+ years of experience in Technology.
• NetSuite SuiteAnalytics certification.
• Prior experience working in a consulting environment, specializing in NetSuite Data Synchronization, data warehousing tools and platforms (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, ETL Tools), and BI tools to manage and consolidate data for business intelligence.
• Candidates with experience in other ERP platforms will also be considered.
