Java Architect (Full Stack)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Application Architecture:
• Define and implement architecture at the application level.
• Ensure that design decisions align with organizational goals and technical best practices.
2. Software Development:
• Develop applications, components, and subsystems for complex projects.
• Contribute to end-to-end project development, ensuring high-quality delivery.
3. Collaboration and Leadership:
• Participate in architecture design teams to define standards and best practices.
• Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to resolve project/technology issues.
• Mentor junior team members and share technical expertise.
4. Quality Assurance:
• Recommend development testing tools and methodologies.
• Review and validate test plans to ensure QA readiness for software deliverables.
5. Documentation and Project Management:
• Create comprehensive documentation for applications and subsystems.
• Establish and oversee full project lifecycle plans for complex, multi-platform projects.
• Ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
6. Risk Management:
• Advise on risk assessment and management strategies.
7. Problem Solving:
• Provide technology solutions for daily operational issues.
• Offer technical evaluations and estimates for initiatives.
8. Innovation:
• Develop creative, original technical solutions to address ongoing development challenges.

Qualifications:

1. Technical Expertise:
• Proven experience designing and building sophisticated, end-to-end systems (full-stack development).
• Expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, RESTful services, and related technologies.
2. Frontend Development:
• Proficiency in building reusable web components using Angular, React, AG Grid, Bootstrap, and similar frameworks.
3. Development Practices:
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Passion for clean, testable, and maintainable code using test-first development approaches.
4. Testing and Automation:
• Experience with unit testing tools/frameworks like Jest, JUnit, and Mockito.
• Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Cucumber, Serenity, Cypress, and others.
5. Source Control and Administration:
• Familiarity with tools like GIT and JIRA for source code and project management.
6. CI/CD and Cloud Infrastructure:
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Udeploy, Docker, and EKS.
• Knowledge of infrastructure tools such as Terraform for infrastructure as code, Datadog for monitoring, and SonarQube for code quality.
