Job Description

Performs testing and quality assurance tasks within project team. Develops and maintains test asset used for manual and automated product testing. Manages own assignments and schedule and serves as a resource for other departments on issues relating to the tester s modules. Operates under moderate supervision.

As part of our team, your Key Accountabilities:

Works directly with project team members to deliver high quality software.

Primary responsibilities include proactive testing, finding new defects, reporting and analyzing them, and supporting software designers in corrective actions.

Designs and creates manual & automated test cases, test data and other necessary test assets.

Managing and tracking bugs/anomalies and verifying bug fixes.

Influences software design to maximize testability and automation potential and improves working methods.

Writes test cases for assigned modules, builds test systems and automates tests under the direction of senior automation test engineer or automation test architect.

Researches and develops an understanding of the industry requirements for the product features being tested, including daily usage of the features and feature related performance, security and reliability requirements.

Other responsibilities will be assigned as required.

You ll need to bring: -

Good experience in software testing environment, or equivalent to.

Must have good practical testing skills and an understanding of the QA and development processes.

Python, Java or JavaScript skills and preferably basic knowledge of databases related scripting/programming.

Experience of working with automation in a CI environment.

Practical experience with any modern test management, defect and requirement tools.

Must be able to deal effectively with all levels of the organization.

Must be a team-oriented person with a can do attitude.

Familiar with OOP principles and engineering practices.

bachelors degree or higher in engineering, information systems, computer science is preferred, or equivalent to.

Practical experience with application related test automation tools like Selenium, Appium and Robot Framework.

Able to deal effectively with all levels of the organization.

Decision Making And Influence

Estimates testing tasks and performs reviews of the project plans

Responsible to identify and communicate risks

Drafts, reviews and approves training materials for the testing team
