Sigma AI is looking for Tamil Transcriber to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey

Listening and Understanding: Carefully listening to audio or video recordings and accurately understanding the content, including speech, accents, and background noise.
Typing Skills: Possessing excellent typing skills to quickly and accurately transcribe spoken words into written text.
Grammar and Punctuation: Ensuring that the transcribed text follows proper grammar, punctuation, and formatting rules.
Specialization: Depending on the industry, some transcribers may specialize in areas such as legal transcription, medical transcription, or media transcription, and they need to be familiar with relevant terminology and guidelines.
Transcription Tools: Using transcription software and equipment to aid in the transcription process, which may include foot pedals, headphones, and specialized software.
Time Coding: Adding time codes or timestamps at specific intervals to indicate when particular content is spoken in the recording.
Verbatim vs. Non-Verbatim: Understanding whether the transcription should be verbatim (word-for-word, including filler words and stutters) or non-verbatim (cleaned up for readability).
Confidentiality: Maintaining strict confidentiality and data security when dealing with sensitive or private information, especially in legal or medical transcription.
Research: Conducting research when encountering unfamiliar terms or industry-specific jargon to ensure accurate transcription.
