Automation Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Playwright Automation Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Playwright. This role requires a strong understanding of automation frameworks, web application testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality aspects of the code.
• Identify, document, and track defects using defect tracking tools.
• Implement best practices for automation, including reusable test scripts and maintainable code.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
• Conduct performance and regression testing to ensure system stability. Troubleshoot test failures and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Provide training and support to team members on Playwright and testing best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-8+ years of experience in test automation, with at least 2-3 years using Playwright.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or any other programming languages for writing Playwright test scripts.
• Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs).
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in testing mobile web applications using Playwright.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies and working in an Agile environment. Behavioral Aspects:
