Job Description
Monitors material availability to fulfill requirements within the agreed cost boundaries and alert the stakeholders about potential issues (Shortages, Ageing, Write Offs) Ensuring to handle supplier queries ,
Monitor supply signals using MRP purchase requisitions Inventory Check
Ensuring delivery dates, lead times and required quantities
Purchase Order Creation
Supplier relationship management
Manage exceptions
Align with Production, Supply base, internal Stakeholders to resolve issues impacting the production and deliveries
The candidate s core responsibility would be to provide outstanding service to the Siemens customer through calls and emails and converting PR to PO, RFx process, negotiation, delivery follow up, On time delivery of Materials.
Tracking and maintaining quick resolution time of Queries
Sensitive to customer queries and operational timelines
Collaboration with Operational team and Interact with different stake holders.
Act as Procurement representative for assigned projects stakeholders and attend lots reviews as required.
Support PPM in establishing and implementing critical initiatives for nominated project suppliers, acquiring the buy-in of key partners and delivery of these, on time and to budget.
Your success is grounded in:
Graduation in any discipline.
2years-5 years
Knowledge of Direct Material Purchasing
In depth knowledge of SAP and Oracle application for MM module
Self Determination, Learning, Communication Skills, Network Built on Trust, Team Player, Customer Focus, Professional Ethics, Siemens Value
Good interpersonal communication, proactive, self-motivated and motivating, result oriented, good oral and written communication
Good understanding of commercial terms
Ability to liaise, coordinate well with colleagues
Ability to work as individual and team contributor.
