Job Description
- The Intelligent Control Systems team at Siemens Engineering Services (ES) is looking for a dedicated engineer to improve the current capabilities of our group
- Preferred educational background is Bachelors or Masters in Computer/Electrical/Mechanical engineering with a focus on Machine Learning (ML) applied to the design of adaptive control systems
- We want someone with TWO YEARS or more experience in building, training, and validation of Deep Learning (DL) models and systems
- Since our group applies ML to the design of sophisticated controllers, fundamentals in control systems theory and design is a strong advantage
The candidate engineer should have the following capabilities:
- Experience with classical ML algorithms including those for classification, regression, clustering.
- Experience with DL algorithms and network architectures (CNN, RNN, LSTM, ).
- Experience with Python (Numpy) and at least one ML framework (TensorFlow (preferred), Keras, PyTorch, ).
- Experience in design and implementation of machine learning models for real-world systems is an advantage.
- Experience with Reinforcement Learning, Deep Reinforcement Learning and their application on Autonomous Driving systems is an advantage.
- Experience in using cloud infrastructure to serve and manage large models is an advantage!
- Experience in GPU programming with CUDA is an advantage
- Experience in using LLM for diverse applications is a plus.
