IT Infrastructure and Cloud Engineer

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure components. The ideal candidate will ensure a secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure that aligns with the organization's business needs and best practices in the industry.

1. Infrastructure Design and Architecture:

• Develop and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure architecture, including servers, networks, storage, and data centers.
• Design and implement solutions to meet the organization's business needs and scalability requirements.
• Ensure the infrastructure aligns with industry best practices and security standards.

2. Cloud Migration and Management:

• Lead the migration of existing workloads to cloud platforms.
• Manage cloud environments, including resource provisioning, cost optimization, and governance.
• Optimize cloud usage to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

3. Infrastructure Operations:

• Oversee day-to-day infrastructure operations, including monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Respond to incidents and outages in a timely and effective manner.
• Ensure the availability, performance, and security of the infrastructure.

4. Capacity Planning and Optimization:

• Forecast future infrastructure needs based on business growth and demand.
• Optimize resource utilization to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement capacity planning strategies to avoid bottlenecks and downtime.

5. Security and Compliance:

• Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect the organization's data and systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.

6. Team Development:

• Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure architecture, processes, and policies.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in infrastructure management and cloud computing.
• Strong technical knowledge of servers, firewalls, networks, storage, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certification in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Certified Solutions Architect) is preferred.
