Python Software Engineer

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a talented and experienced Python developer to join our team. The hired engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions for our ML & AI driven products. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in Python programming and experience building scalable and maintainable software solutions. Responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, debugging and troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ Years of experience in Python development or similar role.
• Experience with Python web frameworks such as Django or Flask for building scalable and maintainable web applications,
• Proficiency in Python programming language, with a strong understanding of its syntax, data structures, and object-oriented principles.
• Knowledge of Python libraries for data manipulation and analysis, such as NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy.
• Familiarity with database systems and tools for interacting with databases using Python.
• Experience in data science or Machine learning field using python and SQL is desirable.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience building or consuming them using Python.
• Proficiency in using version control systems like Git for code collaboration and management.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks like pytest or unittest for writing automated tests to ensure code reliability and quality.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically to solve complex technical challenges.
