Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team at SIPOREX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical systems, with experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Maintenance & Repairs:*Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical systems and equipment including motors, generators, transformers, and lighting systems.
- **Troubleshooting:*Diagnose electrical issues and develop solutions to ensure minimal downtime. Use diagnostic tools and testing equipment to identify and resolve faults.

- **Installation:*Install new electrical components and systems as required, ensuring all installations comply with local electrical codes and safety standards.

- **Upgrades & Modifications:*Assist with upgrades and modifications to existing electrical systems to improve efficiency and performance.

- **Safety Compliance:*Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations. Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with company policies and safety standards.

- **Documentation:*Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status. Complete necessary documentation and reports.

- **Team Collaboration:*Work closely with other maintenance staff and departments to coordinate activities and support overall operational goals.

- **Emergency Response:*Provide on-call support for emergency electrical issues that may arise outside of regular working hours.

**Qualifications:**

- **Education:*High school diploma or equivalent. Technical diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred.

- **Experience:*Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an industrial electrician, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.

- **Skills:*Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, motor controls, and wiring diagrams. Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.

- **Certifications:*Valid electrical license or certification in accordance with local regulations.

- **Attributes:*Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to maintenance and repair tasks.

**Working Conditions:**

- **Physical Requirements:*Ability to lift and move heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.

- **Work Environment:*Exposure to various environmental conditions typical of a manufacturing facility, including noise, dust, and fluctuating temperatures.
