Role Description: This is a full-time on-site role as a Sales Head located in Chennai. The Sales Head will be responsible for managing day-to-day sales operations, leading a sales team across Tamil Nadu for Shriram Finance Bancassurance partnership and core segment partners like CSC with a team of almost 200 FLS and Leadership team, overseeing account management, implementing sales strategies, and ensuring sales targets are met. You will be a key driver in expanding our market presence and achieving our ambitious growth objectives.
Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets 1 across Tamil Nadu. Drive sales growth through the Shriram Finance Bancassurance partnership and core segment partners like CSC.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth. Monitor and evaluate sales performance, providing regular reports to senior management.
Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead and motivate a large sales team of approximately 200 Field Level Sales (FLS) personnel and Leadership team. Provide coaching, training, and development to sales team members. Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
Account Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and clients. Oversee account management activities, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts.
Sales Operations & Reporting:
- Manage day-to-day sales operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. Develop and implement sales processes and procedures.
- Generate accurate and timely sales reports and forecasts. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Partnership Management: Manage and grow the bancassurance partnership with Shriram Finance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with core segment partners like CSC. Ensure effective communication and collaboration with partners.
Qualifications: Essential Skills:
- Strong Analytical Skills. Proven Sales Management experience.
Extensive experience in Account Management. Excellent Team Management skills. Strong Sales skills and negotiation abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a large sales team.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
