Job Summary:

Shree Jagannath Charitable Cancer Hospital is seeking dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurses (JNM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, contribute to the efficient operation of the healthcare team, and support the hospital's mission to provide exceptional cancer care. This position requires a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience and a strong commitment to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care and administer prescribed medications as per the doctors instructions.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes to the medical team.
• Assist in preparing patients for procedures, surgeries, and other medical treatments.
• Ensure the comfort and safety of patients during their stay in the hospital.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with hospital protocols.
• Assist with patient education regarding treatment plans, discharge instructions, and self-care management.
• Collaborate with doctors, medical staff, and healthcare teams to provide optimal patient care.
• Follow infection control protocols and ensure a clean, safe environment for patients.
• Handle emergency situations effectively and follow established emergency procedures.
• Ensure the availability of necessary medical supplies and equipment.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families during their treatment and recovery process.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs.

Qualifications:

• Education: General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) degree.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a cancer or oncology-related environment.
• Licensure: Valid nursing registration with the State Nursing Council.
• Skills:
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.
• Knowledge of medical procedures, medications, and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle emergencies.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
