We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Technician specializing in the manufacturing and repair of CCTV cameras to join our team. The Production Technician will be responsible for the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of CCTV cameras to ensure they meet high-quality standards and customer requirements. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, hands-on experience with electronic devices, and a commitment to delivering excellent service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble CCTV cameras according to established manufacturing processes and technical specifications, ensuring accuracy and precision in all assembly tasks.
Conduct comprehensive functional tests and quality inspections on newly assembled cameras to verify proper functionality and adherence to performance standards.
Diagnose technical issues and malfunctions in defective or damaged CCTV cameras, utilizing troubleshooting techniques and diagnostic tools to identify root causes.
Perform repairs, adjustments, and component replacements on faulty CCTV cameras to restore them to proper working condition, following manufacturer guidelines and best practices.
Document all repair activities, including diagnoses, repair procedures, parts used, and test results, maintaining accurate records for quality control and warranty purposes.
Collaborate closely with the production team, engineering department, and customer service representatives to address customer concerns, resolve technical issues, and improve product quality.
Assist in the development and optimization of manufacturing processes, workflows, and procedures to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality in CCTV camera production and repair operations.
Adhere strictly to safety protocols, guidelines, and best practices to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and colleagues at all times.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electronics, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in electronic assembly, manufacturing, repair, or quality control, with a focus on CCTV cameras or similar electronic devices.
Solid understanding of electronic components, circuitry, and assembly techniques, with the ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and product specifications.
Proficiency in using various hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and electronic testing instruments for assembly, repair, and troubleshooting purposes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively and efficiently.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to colleagues and customers.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, with a proactive and self-motivated attitude towards work.
Flexibility to work variable hours, including evenings, weekends, and overtime, as needed to meet production and repair deadlines.
