Senior Research Analyst - Nightshift role

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Invoice Processor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, verifying, reconciling accounts and entering vendor invoices into our accounting system. You will ensure the accuracy of invoice details, such as pricing, quantities, and matching reservation information, before routing them for approval and processing payments. This role involves managing the entire cycle of receiving and paying vendor invoices to ensure accurate financial records and timely payments.

Key responsibilities include:

• Receiving Invoices: Collect invoices from vendors via mail, email, or electronic platforms.
• Data Entry: Input invoice details such as vendor information, invoice date, amount, tax breakdown, itemized descriptions, and other key identifiers into the accounting system.
• Invoice Verification: Verify invoice accuracy against reservation details and credit card statements, identifying any discrepancies or errors.
• Approval Routing: Submit invoices to relevant approvers based on internal process guidelines.
• Vendor/Supplier Communication: Address vendor queries, resolve payment issues, and provide necessary support.
• Reconciling Accounts: Review vendor statements and reconcile account balances regularly to ensure accuracy.
• Tax Compliance: Assist in preparing tax calculations for invoice reconciliation and support tax reporting requirements in various jurisdictions.

Skills Required:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent data entry skills.
• Understanding of the invoice reconciliation process.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to work after hours based on business demand.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, with experience in managing financial data.
• Experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable is preferred.
