Key Responsibilities:

Taxation and Compliance:

• Handle GST and TDS compliance, including multi-state GST matters and 194R-related issues.
  
• Oversee the accurate preparation and timely filing of GSTR returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and GSTR-9C) and annual returns.
  
• Ensure compliance with TDS provisions and timely submission of TDS returns.
  
• Address GST and TDS notices and queries from tax authorities.
  

Financial Reporting and Audits:

• Prepare accurate financial statements, including Profit & Loss accounts, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements.
  
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for statutory audits and address audit observations.
  
• Ensure all financial records are audit-ready and in compliance with applicable standards.
  

Accounting Operations:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations in accordance with statutory requirements.
  
• Oversee journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations for accuracy.
  
• Ensure timely and accurate bill bookings, petty cash handling, and bank reconciliations.
  

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Develop, monitor, and analyze budgets, providing insights into variances.
  
• Forecast financial performance and recommend strategies for cost optimization.
  

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations, ensuring timely vendor payments and customer collections.
  
• Conduct regular aging analysis for receivables and payables to minimize overdue balances.
  

Payroll and Statutory Compliance:

• Ensure timely payroll processing and compliance with PF, ESI, and other statutory requirements.
  
• Reconcile payroll with statutory deductions and file necessary returns.
  

ERP and Automation:

• Proficiently use Tally ERP 9, Tally Prime, and Zoho Books (preferred) for financial operations.
  
• Implement automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency in accounting workflows.
  

MIS and Management Reporting:

• Prepare periodic MIS reports and dashboards for management, providing actionable insights.
  
• Assist management in strategic decision-making with data-backed financial analysis.
  

Leadership and Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts team to achieve organizational goals.
  
• Conduct regular training and performance reviews for the team.
  

Multi-State Taxation:

Ensure compliance with GST regulations across multiple states.
Manage inter-state taxation issues, registrations, and reconciliations effectively.

Key Skills:

• Strong expertise in GST, TDS.
  
• Proficiency in Tally ERP 9, Tally Prime, and knowledge of Zoho Books (preferred).
  
• Exceptional knowledge of statutory accounting and tax regulations.
  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
