Shiprocket - DevOps Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline (5-8 yrs)

Job Description :

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for automating, managing, and supporting the infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with software development and IT teams to enhance system reliability, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Cloud Formation.

- Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.

- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and optimize cloud-based solutions.

- Implement security best practices and compliance standards.

- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability.

- Work with development teams to enhance DevOps best practices.

- Implement and manage containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

- Log monitoring and alerting using tools like ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk.

Required Skills :

- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Cloud Formation, or Ansible.

- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI, etc.).

- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).

- Understanding of networking, security, and Linux administration.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with server less computing (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).

- Familiarity with GitOps and Kubernetes operators.

- Experience with database management and optimization.

- Knowledge of compliance standards like ISO 27001, SOC 2, or GDPR.

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
