As a Quality Analyst at Shiprocket, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through comprehensive testing. You will design and execute manual and automated tests, identify issues, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure that defects are addressed before production releases. Ideal candidates will have experience in test planning, execution, and bug tracking, along with a strong understanding of software development processes. Attention to detail, a passion for delivering high-quality products, and familiarity with modern testing tools and methodologies are key to success in this role.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and understand requirements.
• Identify, document, and track bugs through the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Develop and maintain test cases, test plans, and test reports.
• Conduct regression, functional, integration, and performance testing.
• Ensure test environments are set up properly and configurations are managed efficiently.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve automation scripts.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging testing tools and trends to enhance testing processes.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 2+ years of experience.
• Strong experience in automation testing using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
