Job Title: General Shift Executive

Work Location: Pondicherry Detergents Factory

Main Job Purpose:

To plan, manage, coordinate and control the operations of Production Department in the plant as per Unilever standards & also meeting the quality and safety standards in the product and in workplace.

Also maintain the harmonious people engagement to achieve highest level of productivity and harmonious employee relations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand the Complete manufacturing process/ flow/ machines of the plant.

• Achieve shift, daily, weekly and monthly production targets of the plant (OR).

• Proper System bookings of the Production and Maintain proper production logbooks

• Ensure Manning for all machines in every shift to achieve production output requirements.

• Achieve Productivity (OEE) Targets for the machines by way of eliminating the losses.

• Ensure Finished Goods Availability in Warehouse all the time.

• Ensure First time right Production batches (Quality). Adhere to all quality standards in the manufacturing process (Mfg Area, Plodder area, Packing area, RM & PM Quality standards & in FG area).

• Ensure safe working place environment (Ensure proper 5S, Hygiene, No Spillages, Machine Guarding, Electrical safety standards)

• Ensure waste reduction in RM and PM during manufacturing production (Cost Reduction).

• Improve the safety behaviors of the employees by way of role modelling.

• Ensure Preventive Maintenance & Autonomous Maintenance SOP in spirit in the plant.

• Carry projects for OEE Improvement on the specific OEE Losses along with Maintenance team.

• Carry Quality Improvement Projects along with Quality Team for specific Quality Problems in the plant.

• Ensure Multi Skilling of Employees in the plan to mitigate skill gap problem.

• Achieve harmonious employee connect by way of Reward, Recognition, Motivation and personal connect to achieve highest levels of Productivity, Manning Issues, Skill Issues.

• Ensure proper technical and behavior training to employees.

• Ensure proper discipline of employees in the shop floor.

Professional Qualifications:

• BE in Mechanical Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering

• Any other Certifications on this is appreciable.

• Preferrable Male Candidates.

Experience Required:

ESSENTIAL:

• Minimum 3-4 Years of Production Executive experience in FMCG (Preferably bottle lines) or any other Industries
