Manufacturing Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Should be able to generate concepts for Jigs Fixtures
• Should have good experience in design of Welding Fixtures,
• Assembly fixture or Machining Fixtures
• Knowledge about Different types of Welding
• Should be strong in SolidWorks with knowledge on the PLM
• Experience in Sheet metal, Weldments
• Knowledge about GD T

Key Deliverables

3D Modeling and 2D Drawings, Fabrication drawings

Professional Experience

• Having relevant experience in the range of 3 to 5 Years
• preferably from Heavy Machinery/ Construction Equipment
• Manufacturing design / SPM Design domain

Key Competencies

• Adequate Fabrication/Manufacturing exposure.
• Effective in communication- collaborate with global
• counterparts and teams
• Good in mechanical engineering basics stress and strain,
• bending moment diagram and bending stress, shear force
• diagram and shear stress, deflection in cantilever, simply
• supported beam etc.
• Knowledge about selection of bearings, motor, gear box,
• shafts etc (using basic calculations)
