We re looking for a talented Senior Automation Engineer to help design and implement scalable test automation solutions across our platform. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our systems while working with a modern tech stack, including Selenium, Java, TestNG, JIRA, Jenkins, and more.

About the Role: As a Senior Automation Engineer , you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality software. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to drive testing strategies, automate end-to-end processes, and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Your expertise in automation tools, frameworks, and best practices will be essential in improving our testing efficiency and platform reliability.

• Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

• Partner closely with Product team to maintain a clear, prioritized product backlog and align teams with business goals.

Job Description:

• Be part of a SaaS platform development team. Work closely with development and product teams to understand requirements, develop test plans, create a robust automated suite for the product.

• Drive the software quality assurance lifecycle with Agile methodologies

• Understanding requirements, user stories, create manual test cases and execute them once the functionality is ready for testing.

• Design and implement automation strategies to streamline the testing process to bring in efficiency and effectiveness

• Ensure software quality through the design, development and execution of automated tests and framework

• Contribute to the delivery of high-quality product

• Responsible to maintain testing frameworks, analyze the test results, identify report defects, and work on their resolution.

• Communicate status and issues and escalate to Lead / Product Owner in a timely fashion.

• Perform regression testing as required.

• Participate in Sprint Planning, demo, and team meetings.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor s or Master s Degree in a relevant field such as BE / ME / MTech / BCA / MCA / BSc / MSc.

• 5 to 8 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), or Software Testing.

• Experience working in early-stage startups with product teams.

• Exposure to distributed teams and remote collaboration practices.

• QA Automation : Minimum of 4+ years of experience in QA Automation using Selenium with Java/JavaScript .

• Testing Frameworks : Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and frameworks such as TestNG , JUnit , or Cucumber .

• Version Control CI/CD : Proficient in using Git and familiar with CI/CD tools like Jenkins .

• Test Management Tools : Experience with test management tools such as JIRA and its plugins.

• API Testing : Strong experience in API testing using tools like Katalon Studio , Postman , SoapUI , or REST .

• Database Knowledge : Exposure to databases as a user with hands-on experience in SQL for data validation and queries.

• Atlassian Tools : Familiarity with Atlassian products and plugins such as JIRA , Xray , and Katalon .

Good to have:

• Experience in Quality Assurance for SaaS platforms or cloud-based services is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with financial systems or related domains would be a bonus

• Experience using Atlassian products - Jira and Bitbucket.

• CICD (Continuous integration continuous deployment) experience.

• Hands-On experience in maintaining UI/API automation framework/test suites.
