Quality Assistant Engineer

Job Summary:

• The Quality Assistant Engineer will support the Quality Manager in maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards
• The role involves assisting in document control, data entry, and various quality assurance activities
• This position is suitable for a fresher with a degree qualification who is eager to learn and grow in the field of quality management

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of quality documentation, including production reports, store ledgers, rejection logs, and parameter monitoring sheets
• Support the Quality Manager in managing QMS documentation and records in compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of quality-related activities
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of internal and external quality audits
• Monitor and track quality performance metrics, reporting any discrepancies or issues to the Quality Manager
• Support in the investigation and analysis of quality issues, including non-conformances and customer complaints
• Assist in the development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions
• Ensure proper filing and archiving of quality documents and records

Qualifications:

• Fresh graduates with a strong interest in quality management are encouraged to apply
• Basic knowledge of QMS, IATF 16949, and ISO 9001 standards is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under the guidance of senior quality professionals and follow instructions accurately
• Preferred Skills: Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles
• Familiarity with quality management tools and techniques
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities
