Job Description:

National Distribution Limited is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and experience in maintaining accurate financial records. This position will provide exposure to the operations of a national-level distribution company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain daily financial records and ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledgers.
• Prepare financial reports, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments for accounting-related queries.
• Manage vendor and customer accounts, assisting in resolving discrepancies.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting, preferably within a distribution environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Tally.
• Strong skills in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Male candidates preferred.

Desired Skills:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of UK accounting systems and standards is not mandatory.

Work Timing:

• This position requires working during UK hours, i.e., from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST.

Location Preference:

• Candidates residing in or around Ernakulam will be given preference.
