Shashwath Solution - Backend Developer - Python (3-10 yrs)

Role Overview :

As a Backend Developer, you will play a critical role in developing and enhancing the backend systems powering our AI product. You will collaborate with a talented team of developers and product managers to create robust, scalable, and efficient solutions that cater to industry needs and adhere to the best practices in software development.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Django and Python.

- Build custom UI components using Django and contribute to a seamless integration with frontend systems.

- Develop, test, and deploy RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework for seamless communication between services.

- Work on ORM-based database interactions and ensure data integrity and efficiency.

- Implement and optimize SQL and Postgres queries for robust data processing.

- Handle JSON-based data processing to enable smooth data exchange across systems.

- Collaborate in a team environment, ensuring smooth integration of backend services with other system components.

- Adhere to industry standards and best practices for backend development, ensuring secure, scalable, and maintainable code.

- Leverage GIT for version control and collaborative development.

- Explore and experiment with Chat-GPT prompting for innovative AI-driven solutions.

- Integrate third-party APIs, particularly the WhatsApp META API (experience in this is a plus).

- Build user-friendly interfaces with HTML and CSS for administrative dashboards or other backend UI components.

Requirements :

- Proficiency in Django for backend development and custom UI creation.

- Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in building scalable applications.

- Hands-on experience with the Django REST Framework and developing APIs.

- Solid understanding of SQL and database management using Postgres.

- Knowledge of JSON handling and efficient data processing techniques.

- Familiarity with HTML & CSS for backend-oriented UI requirements.

- Experience with GIT for version control.

- Understanding of modern ORMs and database abstractions.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt in a dynamic startup environment.

- Passion for exploring and leveraging new technologies like Chat-GPT.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) :

- Experience with the WhatsApp META API integration.

- Familiarity with working in an AI-driven product environment.
