Associate Consultant Medicine

Role & responsibilities

• Diagnosis and Treatment: 
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of medical conditions across all age groups.
• Formulate personalized treatment plans for patients.
  
  Patient Care:
• Offer both inpatient and outpatient care, ensuring the highest standards of medical practice.
• Manage chronic diseases like hypertension, diabetes etc.
  Emergency Management:
• Handle medical emergencies promptly and efficiently.
• Provide critical support and coordination with the emergency team.
  
  Collaboration:
• Work closely with specialists in orthopedics, pediatrics, and other departments to provide integrated patient care.
• Guide and mentor junior medical staff and interns.
  
  Documentation and Compliance:
• Maintain detailed medical records of patients and ensure compliance with hospital standards and ethical practices.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
  
  Health Education:
• Counsel patients and their families on preventive care, healthy lifestyle habits, and disease management.

Preferred candidate profile

• MD Medicine from a recognised institution.
• Should have an active medical registration.
• Willingness to work on full time basis from 11am to 8 pm as associate consultant (OPD, Ward Rounds, Emergency care and call duty)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
