Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our finance team as an Assistant Manager - Accounts, responsible for managing financial operations in both India and the United States. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international accounting practices, familiarity with taxation regulations in both regions, and the ability to coordinate seamlessly across geographies. This role requires a proactive approach to financial management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural environment.
Shift Timings:- 3.00 PM to 12.00 AM
Responsibilities:
• Dual Jurisdiction Financial Management: Oversee and manage financial operations for both India and the US, ensuring compliance with respective accounting standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with external partners, tax consultants, and auditors in both regions.
• Financial Record Maintenance: Ensure accurate and up-to-date maintenance of financial records, ledgers, and journals for both regions.
• Oversee the recording of financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable in compliance with local standards.
• International Financial Reporting: • Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements for the organization, taking into account the specific reporting requirements of India and the US.
• Generate and analyze financial reports to provide comprehensive insights to the management team.
• Tax Compliance and Reporting:
• Work closely with tax consultants to ensure compliance with tax laws in both India and the US.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns in accordance with local regulations.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Collaborate with the finance team to develop and monitor budgets for both regions.
• Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and variance analysis, considering currency exchange impacts.
• Cash Flow Management:
• Monitor and manage cash flow in both regions to ensure liquidity and financial stability. • Coordinate with local banking partners to optimize cash management.
• Cross-Cultural Collaboration:
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across different time zones.
• Provide guidance and support to junior members of the finance team in both locations.
• Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
• Work closely with vendors, suppliers, and stakeholders in both regions to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Negotiate favorable payment terms and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Audit Coordination:
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations for both regions.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process improvement in international financial operations.
• Recommend and implement efficiency measures to streamline accounting processes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
• Proven experience in international accounting and financial management.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting in India and the US.
• Familiarity with tax regulations in both jurisdictions.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-cultural, global environment
