Medical Annotator

Role & responsibilities

To work as medical annotator role includes various tasks as mentioned below:

• Text based NER and Relationship annotation of various medical domain entities according to the scope of the project.
• To do research and analysis to understand the given guidelines of the project or todesign the guidelines of a project as per the clients requirement
• To provide training of the project to the team of annotators
• To resolve the conflicts for corner cases and provide feedback to the annotation team
• To perform QA on the docs submitted by the annotators
• To be responsible for the overall quality of the project
• To work on other classification, knowledge creation tasks to develop machine learning models.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience: 0-6 years in text related NER and relationship annotation in clinical domain

Qualification:

• Masters in life science (biochemistry, microbiology, biotechnology)
• B.Pharm/M.Pharm/BAMS/BHMS
• Other life sciences backgrounds
• Good logical and analytical skills
• Good command over English. Our projects are driven by guidelines and understanding and implementing the same requires good command over English.
• Candidates should have experience in text based NER and Relationship annotation (medical domain).
• Knowledge about SNOMED/ICD-10-CM/RXNORM/LOINC terminologies or experience in such coding projects is not mandatory but good to have.
