Senior Executive - Design

We are seeking a creative, talented, and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

• Design Creation: Develop original clothing and accessory designs, keeping in mind the target audience, season, and current trends.
  
• Trend Research: Stay up-to-date with fashion trends, materials, and techniques to ensure designs are relevant and innovative.
  
• Sketching & Technical Drawing: Create detailed sketches, CAD drawings, and tech packs to communicate design ideas effectively.
  
• Fabric & Material Selection: Work with fabric suppliers and choose appropriate materials for design concepts, ensuring quality and functionality.
  
• Pattern Making & Fitting: Collaborate with pattern makers to ensure proper garment construction and fit; make adjustments to designs as needed.
  
• Collection Development: Design and develop complete collections for each season, ensuring cohesive style and consistent branding.
  
• Collaboration with Production Teams: Work closely with garment manufacturers and production teams to ensure designs are executed correctly and meet quality standards.
  
• Sample Review: Oversee the development of sample garments and evaluate them for accuracy, fit, and overall appearance.
  
• Brand Consistency: Ensure designs align with the brand’s vision, target market, and aesthetics.
  
• Sourcing & Material Innovation: Discover new materials, techniques, and finishes to elevate collections.
  
• Client & Customer Interaction: Collaborate with sales teams, buyers, or clients to understand their needs and preferences, incorporating feedback into designs.
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Fashion Designer or in a similar role (2+ years preferred).
  
• A portfolio showcasing your fashion design work, including sketches, finished products, and collections.
  
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabric types, and fashion trends.
  
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or other design tools.
  
• Experience in pattern-making, draping, and garment fitting is highly desirable.
  
• Excellent creative and visual skills, with an understanding of color theory, design principles, and fashion aesthetics.
  
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality and craftsmanship.
  
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects at once.
  
• A degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Technology, or a related field is required.
