Role: Horticulturist

Location: Hulimavu, Bengaluru

Experience : 7 to 12 Year

Education qualification: Bachelor's degree in horticulture or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and managing horticultural activities of all the Units / Factories along with management adhoc requirements / New Projects on garden development.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of horticultural staff, including gardeners and support personnel.
• Plan and schedule horticultural activities, including planting, pruning, watering, and pest control.
• Monitor and ensure the health and well-being of plants. Implement pest and disease control measures as needed. Oversee proper irrigation and fertilization practices.
• Contribute to the design and layout of gardens or green spaces. Coordinate and execute maintenance tasks to keep the grounds aesthetically pleasing.
• Stay updated on horticultural trends, techniques, and best practices. Conduct research to improve plant health, growth, and sustainability.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards related to horticultural practices. Implement sustainable and environmentally friendly horticultural practices.
• Collaborate with other departments or teams, such as Admin & facilities, Purchase, Accounts etc. Work with external vendors and contractors when necessary.
• Prepare regular reports on horticultural activities, budget expenditures, and project status. Communicate with senior management on departmental goals and achievements.
• Implement safety protocols for horticultural activities. Identify and mitigate risks associated with horticultural practices.
