Role & responsibilities

• Working with Designers / Buyers / Vendors to develop the Garment as per the Styling.  
• Direct Communication with the Buyers for the Fit Comments and Training Vendor Technicians.  
• Reviewing the Fits on live models / Dress forms and advice Fit Corrections to Vendor.  
• Approving Development Samples / Fit Samples / PP Samples / GPT & FPT Reports / Bulk Fabric Qualities.  
• Measure Samples, Cross Check Tech Packs, Do Fittings on the Models/Dummies, Make Comments, Etc.  
• Reduction in Manual Operations so as to reduce the Time taken for Production Process which Reduces cost.  
• Analyzing Production Feasibility for a given Design  
• Explain Buyers/Vendors the Production Feasible Constructions thru Digital Images and Mock-Ups for easy understanding.  
• Guiding Pattern Dept to follow Buyer Fit Comments and get Clarification from Buyer for any  Technical issues.  
• Eliminated Sample Rejections by doing Pre- Fit Shrinkage study there by Reducing Wastage in time, Cost and Manpower.  
• Recommending Threads, Interlinings and other Accessories for a given Design  
• Advising the Marketing Team with the major points which has to be considered for costing and calculating CM value, for each style.  
• Analyzing the Buyer given (GSS) Garment Specification Sheet and make sure the buyer requirements are met.  
• Technical decisions on Embroidery, Needles, Threads, Fabrics, Trims, Zipper and any sort of construction.  
• Advising Consumption and Dimensions of any Trims to Merchant to help them in Costing and make the cost sheet more competitive.  
• Record the process of making Garment in sample room having 50 Sewing machines and Issue Final  
• Production Package with Final Approved Garment to Factory  
• Industrial engineering. Undergone Kurt Salmon Associates training for Product management in apparel exports and System Implementation and execution.  
• Practical planning to Increase efficiency %.  
• Work content reducing by using technology and process study.  
• Man to machine ratio reduction.  
• Risk analysis meeting
