Role : Lead AWS Data Engineer

Location : Mohali, India (100% onsite).

Job Description :

As a Lead AWS Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving business insights through data analytics, building scalable data pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement robust data solutions on cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain innovative data solutions to enable real-time analytics using AWS and RDBMS technologies.

- Design and build data pipelines with Continuous Delivery practices, integrating data from multiple sources.

- Optimize cloud resource orchestration, including scheduling, monitoring, and performance reporting on AWS.

- Improve data pipelines and workflows from experimental stages to production release.

- Build self-service data platform tools for analysts, scientists, and engineers.

- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to create data services and products.

- Manage and operate cloud-based environments, including in-memory databases like Exasol and Oracle.

- Work with advanced data technologies and tools such as Apache Spark and Airflow.

Skills and Experience :

- Strong understanding of data platform design, service development, and maintenance.

- Hands-on experience with data extraction, integration, and deployment automation.

- Expertise in cloud engineering with private and public cloud environments, especially AWS.

- Proficiency in Data Warehousing, ETL, analytics, and reporting.

- Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, and experience with Spark, MicroStrategy, Oracle/Exasol, and Superset.

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams.

- Fluency in English is essential.
