Senior Web Application Developer

You will be responsible for developing high-quality, maintainable, and scalable applications using Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript and associated frameworks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new features, participate in code reviews, troubleshoot, and debug complex issues.

You are expected to continuously learn and keep up to date with best practices and better technologies.

You will work closely with the UI/UX designer and help bridge the gap between User experience design and technical implementation.

Responsibilities

• Development of complex web applications while ensuring best practices and design patterns
• Develop reusable components and libraries to maintain consistency across applications
• Build responsive interfaces that deliver consistent user experiences and robust functionality
• Design and develop scalable RESTful APIs and microservices
• Implement efficient database schemas and optimize query performance
• Handle server-side security, data validation, and business logic
• Set up and maintain development infrastructure including repository architecture, deployment pipelines and server infrastructure
• Optimize application performance for speed, scalability and reliability.

Requirements

• Expertise in building production-grade applications using React, Node.js, TypeScript, and modern web frameworks
• Expertise in developing complex components with custom styles and pixel-perfect implementations
• Expertise in developing complex functional components using React hooks, State management and third-party libraries.
• Experience in developing scalable backend services and RESTful APIs with efficient database design
• Strong understanding of server-side architecture, security practices, and database optimization
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies
• Excellent communication, teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams as well as clients
• Care deeply about product experience and are driven to put great products in the hands of users
