Filter Press Operator Incharge For Mineral Iron Ore Benefication Plant

Roles and Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain filter press equipment to ensure efficient production of high-quality products.
  
• Monitor and control the filtration process to meet quality standards, ensuring minimal impurities in iron ore beneficiation.
  
• Prepare materials for filtration by loading, unloading, and handling various components such as filters, media, and other related items.
  
• Troubleshoot issues with filter press operations and perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent downtime or breakdowns.
  
• Collaborate with team members to optimize plant performance, improve productivity, and reduce waste.

A filter press operator's responsibilities include:

• Operating and monitoring: Ensuring the filter press is working properly and producing quality products
• Maintenance and troubleshooting: Performing routine maintenance and fixing minor issues to minimize downtime
• Preparing materials: Setting up and managing materials for filtration processes
• Logging and reporting: Keeping accurate records of production activities and reporting any issues to supervisors
• Collaborating: Working with team members to improve processes and best practices
• Adhering to safety standards: Following all safety rules and regulations, including keeping the work area clean
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5-10 years of experience in a similar role within an iron & steel industry setting.
  
• Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. degree in relevant field (e.g., Chemical Engineering).
  
• Strong understanding of operating and monitoring procedures for filter press equipment.
  
• Proficiency in preparing materials for filtration processes; knowledge of logging and reporting requirements.
