Roles and Responsibilities

1. He / She should be conversant with day-to-day accounting of transactions on Tally ERP in a mid-size Construction/Enginering setup. Should have an attitude to make entry into Tally ERP as well as prepare MIS and have meetings with the management.
2. Should be well versant with Tally ERP - Chart of Accounts, Cost Centers, etc. Filtering, Reporting using Tally and good MS Excel Skills are expected.
3. This would be a client location where our company SGC has taken up responsibility of end-to-end accounting and compliances. Location is Whitefield/Marathalli/Kundalahalli area.
4. Should be able to guide his / her Team on the transaction recording, filings, etc. in his/her team. Should also be able to handle operational requirements like making entry in Tally ERP, report generation, reconciliations, discussions to seek clarifications with seniors/management.
5. Candidates should have good working knowledge of regular compliances like TDS, GST, etc. required on a daily basis.
6. Draw up the MIS at regular frequencies as per management's requirements and any other special reports required. As such, should be good with MS Excel - functions, conditional formatting, pivot tables, etc. Ability to prepare year-end financials would be an added advantage and would be given weightage.
7. Candidate should a good team player, carrying out various functions within the department.

Desired Candidate Profile

Graduates or Post-Graduates with Good Accounting Knowledge, good working exposure on Tally ERP, MS Excel, able to submit MIS/Financials on time, good communication skills and who are proactive will be considered. The candidate should also be good at setting up processes
for the various activities/operations. Knowledge of IT/TDS/GST regular compliances is also required. Minimum Experience after Graduation / PG is about 6-8 years with hands on recent Tally ERP - exposure of at least cumulative 4 years on AP/AR/GL. Knowledge of SAP would be an added advantage.

In case of CA - Inter Qualified candidates, 3-4 years' experience post articleship would be required. In case of articles completed without CA Inter, 4-5 years' experience would be required.
