Product Owner-AI & ML Implementation

As a forward-thinking leader in the freight forwarding industry, we are seeking an experienced Product Owner to spearhead our initiatives in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). The ideal candidate will have a robust background in implementing AI and ML solutions to enhance operational efficiency and automation. Knowledge of Freight Forwarding industry will earn you brownie points.

Key Responsibilities:
Process Analysis and Automation: Conduct thorough analyses of existing manual processes within the organization to identify and prioritize areas for automation.
AI & ML Strategy Development: Develop and define the AI and ML strategy to streamline operations, enhance decision-making, and improve service delivery.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI tools effectively.
Project Leadership and Execution: Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure that AI and ML projects are delivered on time and within budget. Guide the project lifecycle from conception through deployment, including requirement gathering, scope definition, sprint planning, and execution.
Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly engage with stakeholders across the organization to gather feedback and adjust the AI implementation strategy as needed. Ensure alignment with the broader business objectives and technology architecture.
Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to AI and ML projects to measure impact and success. Report on progress to senior management and recommend adjustments to project scopes based on data-driven insights.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and ML technologies.

Recommend and pilot innovative solutions to maintain competitive advantage and continuous improvement in operational processes.
Team Collaboration and Support: Work closely with IT, operations, and other relevant departments to facilitate knowledge sharing and foster a culture of innovation and technological adoption within the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 3 years of Proven experience in managing and implementing AI and ML projects.
Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies and their application in automating business processes.
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Experience with agile development methodologies.
Familiarity with logistics processes and supply chain optimization.
Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements in freight forwarding.
