Lead Electrical Engineer Control Panel & Wiring

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer to oversee and guide a team of engineers responsible for the design, installation, and wiring of control panels and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will ensure the team accurately interprets customer documentation, manages projects efficiently, and meets quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of Electrical Engineers working on control panels and field wiring.
• Review and approve electrical schematics, BOM, and other customer-provided documentation to ensure proper execution.
• Coordinate and manage the design and creation of control panels based on customer specifications.
• Oversee the planning, installation, and field wiring of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards.
• Identify and resolve complex technical challenges related to electrical installations.
• Ensure all electrical installations are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Develop and implement best practices for electrical design, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Work closely with other engineering teams to ensure integration of electrical components with control systems.
• Provide technical support during the testing and commissioning phases.
• Monitor the progress of electrical projects, providing regular updates and reports to senior management.
• Conduct training and development sessions for team members to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in leading a team of engineers in the design, installation, and wiring of control panels.
• Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, field wiring, and BOM analysis.
• In-depth understanding of electrical systems, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Experience with project management, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex electrical issues.
• Familiarity with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN) is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior engineers in their technical growth.
