Design Engineer / Asst. Design Manager

Role & responsibilities

▪ Create new and modified designs for mechanical devices and assemblies

▪ Adaptation and modification of existing designs and assemblies

▪ Updating device series and master parts lists

▪ Create production documents and update documents in a product data management

system

▪ Create and update master data in a product data management system

▪ Familiar with local standards and regulations regarding machine safety

▪ Supporting regarding cost calculation and determination of manufacturing costs

▪ Supporting production and service in case of technical issues or questions

Preferred candidate profile

▪ Advanced knowledge in 3D design software, ideally Solid Edge

▪ Advanced knowledge in sheet metal and weldment design

▪ Strong technical expertise and interactive mindset with team members, vendors, customers and overseas Principal

▪ Exposure to designing of the conveyors and conveyor components, machine parts being used in Food, Plastics and Plastic recycling industries

▪ Strong technical expertise and Fluent in English & ideally basic knowledge in German
