Role: Junior Lawyer

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Representation: Represent clients in high court and lower court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations.
• Legal Research: Conduct in-depth legal research to identify relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents.
• Document Drafting: Prepare a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, briefs, and other legal correspondence.
• Case Management: Assist senior lawyers in managing caseloads, including scheduling appointments, organizing documents, and tracking deadlines.
• Legal Advice: Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on a range of legal matters.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
• Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with colleagues, including senior lawyers, paralegals, and other team members.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Legal Education: Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university.
• Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of Indian laws and regulations, particularly in areas relevant to the firm's practice areas.
• Research Skills: Ability to conduct thorough and efficient legal research.
• Writing Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify legal issues and develop effective solutions.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all work.
• Time Management: Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in legal research databases and software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous internship or work experience in a law firm.
• Knowledge of litigation, ADR, legal practices, drafting and procedures.
• Fluency in English and other relevant languages.
• Minimum legal practice of 1 to 4 years
