Reinsurance Manager - General Insurance

Location - Mumbai

Candidate should be Front end role for Facultative.

FACULTATIVE - JD:

- To efficiently and effectively identify and act upon new business opportunities which promote the profitable development of business.

- Keeps a record of all outward fac placement and inward acceptances. Manage timely completion of placement and documentation

- Ensuring smooth co-ordination for placement and binding of new business as well as retention of existing business

- Work closely with Finance and Technical Processing department in resolving accounting and technical queries.

- Reviews the existing processes regularly and explores ways to improve them.

- Keep self-updated on changes in regulatory or other compliance related requirement and ensures the activities and realigned to meet them

- Ensures a strong relationship with all stakeholders

- Does a weekly review of key activities and explores ways to improve productivity as well as quality

- Keeps a regular tab on reinsurers rating

- Helping the team with Market research, presentations, in depth study of new products.

- Automation of manual activities process improvement

- Auditor query resolution audit closure control over regulator reporting done by RI department

We will also look at Property Underwriters who have interest to move to Reinsurance specifically NIA, BIMTECH, NLU Jodhpur MBA passout.
