Data Analyst - Insurance (2-6 yrs)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, statistical methods, and data visualization. They will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing large data

sets to provide insights and support decision-making processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities: -

1. Data Collection and Processing

a. Gather and process data from various sources to ensure completeness, accuracy, and relevance.

b. Clean and organize raw data to prepare it for analysis.

2. Data Analysis

a. Conduct detailed data analysis using statistical methods to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

b. Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover hidden opportunities and identify potential risks.

3. Reporting and Visualization

a. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and trends.

b. Present findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.

4. Business Insights

a. Translate complex data findings into actionable business insights and recommendations.

b. Work closely with various departments to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.

5. Predictive modelling:

a. Build and maintain predictive models to forecast future trends and behaviours.

b. Validate and refine models to improve their accuracy and reliability.

6. Tools and Technologies:

a. Utilize data analysis tools and software such as SQL, Python, R, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.

b. Stay updated with the latest tools and technologies in data analytics and incorporate them into the workflow.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

- A master's degree is preferred.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis or a related role. Fresher can also apply.

- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel, Tableau, Power BI).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
