Data Scientist - Python/R (3-6 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes

- Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data

- Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns

- Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms

- Combine models through ensemble modelling

- Present information using data visualization techniques

- Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges

- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams

Requirements and skills :

- Coding experience in Python (Mandatory) & R(Optional), Java & C++(optional)

- Able to analyze & visualize text, audio & video data. Data engineering: able to analyze data statistically.

- Prior experience of developing credit risk & fraud detection models for banks, NBFC & Fintech.

- Well versed with Descriptive, Predictive & Prescriptive Analytics Experience of time series analysis & forecasting

- Understanding LLMs, prompt engineering and its architecture. Must be hands-on using LLM's (preferably LLama) and have experience in GenAI solutions.

- Should have understanding of ML Ops Understanding of cloud services like AWS Ability to collaborate with tech & business team and approach problem logically and solve problem using data driven decisions.

- Understanding of machine-learning and operations research

- Knowledge of R, SQL and Python; familiarity with Scala, Java or C++ is an asset

- Knowledge of using business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI / Tableau) and data frameworks

- Analytical mind and business acumen

- Strong math skills (e.g. statistics, algebra)

- Problem-solving aptitude

- Excellent communication and presentation skills
