Technical Product Manager, Senior Lead

Technical Product Manager

Location: Pune

We are seeking a passionate Technical Product Manager to be a key player as a guardian to key modules/functionality in Windchill, an industry leading PLM solution, for on-prem and cloud deployment. These modules/functionalities need to be evolved as per the market demand.

Day-To-Day:

• Manage team backlogs, detailed requirements and work with co-located
• Agile teams at global RD centers to deliver quality solutions.
• Bridge the gap between our product management team and engineering teams to distill high level requirements into actionable plans that our expert developers can execute on.
• Work with the Technical Product Managers from other RD teams to manage dependencies.
• Become an expert on area that you would own and guide development as well as tech support on customer reported issues.
• Continuously evaluate, refactor and iterate existing infrastructure components while complying with industry standards, and make recommendations for improvement with best practices to increase the quality and ensure secured deployments.
• Work with engineering team on resources planning and PI planning, including delivery estimates for new changes to the infrastructure.
• Conduct the Agile ceremonies for the engineering teams.
• Continue to upgrade technical and personal skills through internal and external trainings

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

• Knowledge of programming/scripting like Java, Python, JavaScript, Angular JS and shell scripting on Windows as well as Linux platforms
• Knowledge of Java based internet technology stack and intricate configurations, secured communication dynamics and related industry standards and best practices
• Familiarity with private/public cloud providers (Azure) and understanding of different services available from the providers
• Docker/Kubernetes for container deployment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable interacting with technical and business professionals at every level.
• Experience with Scrum and agile processes is required
• Experience writing user stories, creating product backlogs, prioritizing work, and performing story acceptance is required.
• Knowledge of Windchill installation/deployment and integrations is desired, functional knowledge is critical.
• Any exposure to DevOps or deployment technologies for enterprise app in OnPrem Or Cloud is going to be an added advantage.
• Awareness of application security considerations in on-prem and cloud deployment

Preferred Experience:

• Minimum 6-8 years working in an enterprise software development/delivery/integration and deployment/customer engagement role.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in engineering
