Service Engineer / Repair specialist

Role & responsibilities

• Customer Interaction: Engage with customers regarding issues related to handsets, mobility, and fixed devices.
• Device Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot defects in devices, ensuring timely resolution.
• Customer Query Management: Address and resolve customer queries related to devices and services.
• Job Entry: Record job entries and updates in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) portal.
• Software Upgrades: Perform software upgrades for devices to ensure optimal performance.
• Device Assembly/Disassembly: Assemble and dismantle smartphones (unibody/duo body).
• Repair Work: Repair devices by replacing components such as screens, speakers, microphones, cameras, PCBs, sub-PCBA, and charging connectors.
• Cash Management: Deposit cash collected through service transactions.
• Device Exchange Verification: Verify devices for exchange eligibility.
• FTTx Device Inspection: Conduct inspections of FTTx devices to ensure quality and functionality.
• Travel Requirements: Travel to various touch points as per the schedule and when necessary.
• Training & Supervision: Provide training, support, and supervision to extended service touch points and stores, ensuring smooth device service delivery.
• Ad-hoc Responsibilities: Participate in activities like handling complaint calls, supporting SLP devices, out-calling recharges, coaching Jio Associates, and improving productivity in sell-out and activation.

Preferred candidate profile 10+2/ITI/Diploma/Certification in Device Care
