Job Summary:

The Service Advisor acts as the bridge between customers and the workshop, ensuring a smooth and efficient service process. This role involves greeting customers, understanding their vehicle concerns, recommending appropriate services, and coordinating with the workshop team to ensure timely and quality repairs. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, technical knowledge of automobiles, and the ability to provide a superior customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand Customer's vehicle concerns or service requirements.
• Advise customers on necessary repairs, maintenance services, and cost estimates.
• Explain service processes, warranties, and expected turnaround times.
• Obtain customer approval for additional repairs if needed.
• Create detailed job cards, documenting customer concerns and service requests.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle service history and recommended future maintenance.
• Ensure proper documentation of warranty repairs and claims as per manufacturer policies.
• Communicate job requirements to technicians and ensure smooth workflow.
• Coordinate with the parts department to ensure timely availability of required spare parts.
• Promote additional services, maintenance plans, and seasonal offers.
• Upsell value-added services, extended warranties, and service packages.
• Achieve monthly service revenue and customer retention targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2 to 3 years of experience as a Service Advisor in the automobile industry.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle servicing, repairs, and maintenance.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in job card management and CRM software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a dealership service center.
• Certification in automotive service advisory or customer relations.
• Knowledge of warranty claim processing.

Work Environment:

• Service center-based role with frequent customer interactions.
• Requires multitasking and coordination between customers, technicians, and management.
