Android/Web Developer

About the Role: As an Android/Web Developer at Serosoft, you will be responsible for developing high-quality Android/web applications, utilizing Kotlin, Firebase, and modern design patterns. You will contribute to the full application lifecycle, from development to release, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Android/Web applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable Kotlin code for Android development.
• Implement Firebase for real-time data storage, authentication, and notifications.
• Utilize Retrofit and MVVM design patterns to build scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Leverage Data Binding and View Binding to improve UI code efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging.
• Manage and monitor the release process of apps to the Google Play Store, ensuring smooth deployment.
• Use Jira for issue tracking, sprint planning, and project management.
• Follow best practices in Android development and contribute to process improvement.

Education Experience:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of professional experience in Android/Web development with expertise in Kotlin and mobile application deployment.
• Hands-on experience in app release management on the Google Play Store, with at least 2 live apps.
  

Skills Competencies:

• Hands-on experience with Firebase, Retrofit, and MVVM.
• Proficiency in Data Binding, View Binding, and Play Store release.
• Familiarity with Jira or similar tools.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skill.
