Moodle Consultant

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Moodle Consultant to lead the Moodle integration with Academia, setup, configuration, and feature implementation for Moodle Learning Management System (LMS). The consultant will collaborate with our internal teams to ensure that Moodle is effectively configured to meet the organization s educational and technical requirements. They will also integrate Moodle with other platforms and systems to streamline workflows and enhance user experience through a range of features offered through Moodle LMS.

1. Moodle integration with our SIS system Academia:
   • Moodle integration with a range of clients
   • Client interaction & support wherever required
2. Moodle Setup & Configuration:
   • Install, configure, and optimize Moodle LMS for the organization s needs.
   • Customize Moodle s appearance and functionality in line with the organization s branding and user experience requirements.
   • Ensure Moodle s setup is scalable and secure.
   • Set up user roles, permissions, and course structures as per organizational guidelines.
3. Integration with Other Platforms:
   • Integrate Moodle with other platforms.
   • Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) and other authentication methods as needed.
   • Ensure seamless data exchange between Moodle and other systems via API integrations.
4. Custom Development & Plugins:
   • Recommend & install appropriate plugins and modules to enhance functionality.
   • Customize existing plugins or develop new ones as required to meet the organization s unique needs.
5. Maintenance & Support:
   • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Moodle issues during setup and operation.
   • Assist with regular updates, backups, and security patches.
   • Provide training to internal staff for ongoing Moodle management and use.
6. Consultation & Best Practices:
   • Offer strategic advice on how to leverage Moodle s features to achieve business and learning objectives.
   • Ensure compliance with Moodle best practices, including accessibility and data privacy standards.
   • Propose strategies for content migration, user adoption, and long-term system sustainability.

• Proven experience (3+ years) in Moodle integration, setup, customization & functionality expertise.
• Strong understanding of Moodle architecture, plugins, and APIs.
• Experience with integrating Moodle with third-party systems
• Familiarity with security standards and data privacy compliance.
• Knowledge of authentication protocols (e.g., OAuth, LDAP, SAML).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Experience with cloud-based Moodle hosting solutions.
• Previous experience in an education or e-learning environment.
• Familiarity with other e-learning platforms and technologies.
• Experience with data analytics and reporting within Moodle.

Availability:

• Role Type: Part-time
• Location: Indore (Remote working option can be explored)
• Duration: 2-3 months
• Availability Type:
  • Regular availability- 3 sessions (1 hr each) per week on a working day required to train Serosoft team members on Moodle LMS
  • Additional availability- Attend Client calls for Moodle demonstration or query resolution (wherever required)
